Swim shapers & pads
4 years ago we introduced a line of synthetic tricot covered swim shapers for swimsuits. We peddled our swimwear pads up and down the sun belt and were laughed out of most stores because many swim suits came with foam pads. Several large swim retailers showed us large plastic bags full of swimwear pads that women had removed from the swimwear because they didn’t need them.
No matter what we did or say retailers could not be convinced that our swim shapers were "different" and they were packaged to sell to the less endowed. An add on sale and serious enhancement that those cheap uncovered foam pads could not come close to.
We persisted and now Swim Shapers in both covered foam and silicone are some of our best sellers. We have two major swimwear clients that we are doing private label swim shaper packaging for.
Not just a bunch of cheap foam pads in a plastic bag, gathering dust and taking up space in your stock room.
